Get To Know Us

Activate Green is a visionary environmental organisation dedicated to building a sustainable future through the empowerment and education of local communities.

Founded at Brookhouse Schools in Kenya, Activate Green has grown significantly under the leadership of Thayu Wainaina, expanding its reach and impact both nationally and globally. Our initiatives focus on community mobilisation and education as key drivers of long-term environmental change.

Our work also extends to environmental restoration through annual waste management drives and tree-planting projects, funded through our waste paper collection strategy. We proudly align our mission with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly those related to climate action (SDG 13).

Through these initiatives, Activate Green aims to create a cleaner, more sustainable future that empowers vulnerable communities in low-income regions.
